Google’s declaration of the meaning of open
As one year draws to a close in criticizing Google may never ring, the company has issued a declaration, it means that what is ‘open’.
Jonathan Rosenberg, senior vice president and product management, said the original meaning of an open memo to employees, but it posted on Google’s official blog last Monday. In the article, Rosenberg lays out Google’s view that the use of open technology and open information is Google’s core values of the two most important, though reasonable people can disagree with the meaning of ‘open’ in all circumstances.
“This [the differences] is often the case enough to let me come to the conclusion that we need to lay a clear definition of our open, we can all understand and support,” Rosenberg said. “Here is the definition of my experience, based on Google and enter a few colleagues. Our business management and to make our product decisions based on these principles, so I recommend that you carefully read, review and debate,” he told Google employees aide-memoire.
