The Federal Trade Commission requested more details on Google, AdMob deal

U.S. Federal Trade Commission has asked Google to provide more information and to apply the acquisition AdMob prior to final approval of the transaction.

Google disclosed in a “second request” in the blog last Wednesday, said: “Although this means that we will not soon end, we believe that the U.S. Federal Trade Commission will conclude that the growing mobile advertising space will be maintained a high degree of competitiveness after it completion of the transaction. and we will work closely, and cooperate with them, they continue to review. ”

When Google first disclosed its plan early in November to obtain a leading provider AdMob mobile advertising services for 750 million U.S. dollars, the company said it expects the federal government take a look at the deal. Google even prepared a special web page for the media and regulatory bodies to explain why it believes the transaction poses no competitive threat, which is to become a standard practice, in Google, because it involves a growing number of questions from the U.S. government.
